Broadband vouchers available for rural premises
The Government has a Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme to help connect rural homes and businesses to a gigabit-capable broadband network.
Thanks to a top-up from Shropshire Council, the maximum funding per voucher is £7,000 for business premises and £4,000 for homes. To find out more, go to: http://connectingshropshire.co.uk/gigabit-broadband-voucher-scheme/

I live in rural south Shropshire (SY6 7HF) and there are four cottages and a farm near to us. Our wifi is very poor/nonexistent. I have read about the voucher scheme and see that we should make contact with a broadband supplier but I am not clear about
how and when we should apply for the vouchers. I look forward to your reply. Thank you.
Dear Jane,
According to the information we’ve been provided, premises in SY6 7HF are able to access a superfast broadband service from Shropshire-based Secure Web Services. If you require further information about the Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme, please email us at: connecting.shropshire@shropshire.gov.uk
