Broadband vouchers available for rural premises

The Government’s UK Gigabit Voucher Scheme can help rural communities to get access to a gigabit-capable broadband connection.

Thanks to a top-up from Shropshire Council, the maximum funding per voucher is £7,000 for business premises and £4,000 for homes. To find out more, go to:


  1. I live in rural south Shropshire (SY6 7HF) and there are four cottages and a farm near to us. Our wifi is very poor/nonexistent. I have read about the voucher scheme and see that we should make contact with a broadband supplier but I am not clear about
    how and when we should apply for the vouchers. I look forward to your reply. Thank you.
